Items of Interest from the Goldenwood West POA Office
March 1, 2011

The APC Welcomes Matt Davey
The Board of Trustees appointed property owner Matt Davey to the Architectural & Protective Committee (APC) at the January 17, 2011 Board meeting. Matt joins APC members David Deming and Susan Ruthenbeck to form the committee. The next APC meeting will be held on March 9, 2011 at 6:30 PM at the pavilion.

Pool Repairs to Begin Soon
The Board of Trustees has reviewed bids for pool renovations and repairs and has selected a contractor. The Board is still reviewing details but plans to start work soon with an expected completion date before swim season.

Loose Dogs
The APC and POA office have received many complaints regarding loose dogs in the neighborhood. Dogs roaming at large are a violation of GWW’s Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CCRs), Article 7, Paragraph 6, as well as the Hays County Animal Control Ordinance which may be accessed here. Property owners with concerns about loose dogs are being referred to Animal Control at (512) 393-7896. Dog owners are asked to please help keep our neighborhood and our pets safe by checking fences and invisible fence collars to ensure dogs are staying in their yards.

Neighborhood E-mail Network
Property owner and former Board member Margaret Paine serves as the webmaster for the neighborhood’s website and also maintains the neighborhood e-mail network along with property owner and former Board member Rick Bondurant. The e-mail network informs property owners of Neighborhood Watch alerts, local events, news, lost pets, snake sightings, water outages etc. If you are not already receiving neighborhood e-mails and would like to, please request to be added to the e-mail group.

e-Statement Program
Seventy-five GWW property owners are receiving this month’s statements through the e-Statement program. This service saves POA dollars on paper, ink, postage and employee wages. To date, the e-Statement Program sends monthly e-mails which include a statement of account, the new gate code to the pool and tennis court if changing, the monthly Items of Interest if published and any notices or messages from the GWW Board of Trustees and POA office. To sign up for the e-Statement Program and opt out of regular mail mailings from the POA office, please contact Administrator@GoldenwoodWestPOA.org.

Upcoming Meetings
