The developer of Belterra subdivision has petitioned the state to modify their current 17 acre drip affluent water discharge system to a system with a small pond with an emergency run off drain into Bear Creek. This is being done to accommodate additional subdivisions on HWY 290.

Your Directors of the Goldenwood West Water Supply Corporation have opposed this petition and have sent a letter (click to read) to the concerned parties. There is a risk that the pollution of Bear Creek could affect our water supply.
